Transitioning to a circular economy in the built environment in Australia

At some point in the future, we will look back on the war on 'waste' and ask ourselves why on earth we didn't always value the circularity of our resources.

The conversation on the circular economy has moved beyond 'what is it?' and 'who is doing it?'. The next evolution of circularity begins now so join us as we kick start a new conversation about 'what is next?' and 'how can we all get involved?'.

What does the building and construction industry need to better engage with the circular economy? This workshop aims to look at strategy, models and funding to support industry better engage and benefit from the circular economy.

	Circular economy case studies from Northern Europe, opportunities from the Oceania State of Play report on circularity for the built environment.

Melanie Oke, Circular Economy Lead at Sustainability Victoria

	State government leadership in the circular economy – what Sustainability Victoria has planned
